When I came across Albert for pi(e) day I realized this post was still sitting around waiting for pictures. My camera has taken to eating random photos lately and luckily it was in a good mood and I got them out! So here they are.
Our homeschool group arranged a field trip to Legoland so we got to go for cheap. Couldn't pass that up even though we spent a day there for Bug's birthday not too long ago. After all, this is the place that our then 6yo had to ask if it was, 'real or pretend like Unicorns and stuff' when he found out it existed. It's heaven for him.
The kids were excited and I enjoy their enthusiasm, plus it's just kind of a neat place to wander and look around for a day or two. Lots of fun Lego sculptures. The hubby was less than thrilled, the first time around was one time too many in his book. It's really geared towards young kids without much for teenagers or adults to do, but he came along anyways because I think it still beats work ;) It wasn't as crowded this time which made it easier to get on rides. And we stumbled into the garden we had missed the first time! Unexpected and very enjoyable.

| They are getting to the 'don't take my picture AGAIN mom' stage. Can you see it? |

| The moment he spotted her, the perfect woman for a Lego loving guy. It was pretty funny to watch him pull up short. |
| He plunked right down on the bench and put his arm around her (checking out how the sculpture was built), but then he got all bashful. |
| Did you know trees have knees? They do! They are actually root extensions thought to help with aeration of the plant and can grow up to 6' tall. |
| This is all one tree, and only part of it at that. I couldn't get a picture that did it any justice. You could wander around the trails under it, find benches tucked away, and tunnels. Beautiful. |
